With a prolific activity over the last couple of years, Tomé Silva is a young musician based in Almada whose dedication and attention to detail in his work is quite rare for his age. From the junglist bangers of ‘All I Am Is We’ released on Violet’s Angel label, to the emotionally resonating timbral explorations of ‘Quando Voltar ao Chão’, through his production on Maria Reis’ ‘Suspiro…’ and ensuing drums on her live band, Tomé Silva displays a maturity in composition, arrangements and sound that more than making us expectant about future ventures make us relish for what is going on now.
