Dali Muru & the Polyphonic Swarm

Going by the name Fith in past lives, this trio of Dalia Neis, Chris Lamouroux and Enir Da develops a sonic kaleidoscope from a myriad of ideas with no fixed space and time, full of imaging potential. Though triggered by lived experiences, like a road trip from the Danube to the Carpathian forests that inspired the making of their first album as Dali Muru & The Polyphonic Swarm, there’s a whole unresolved potential for dreaming. This year’s ‘Murmur of the Bath Spirits’ works as a sort-of-audiobook companion piece to Neis’ novel ‘The Swarm’ and creates this tapestry of luminous synths, hazy textures, chamber music-like passages and skeletal beats for Neils’ haunted and haunting surreal tales, somewhere between a radio play and spoken word.
