An extended and permanently shifting formation led by the unique vision of the Portuguese trumpet-player and composer who has been, for the past four decades, imagining and realizing an utopian and dreamlike jazz music, the Carro de Fogo (literal translation: “Fire Car”) finally arrives in Barreiro in its current octet form, in its mission to brave these cosmic paths hidden in tradition, with Sei Miguel (pocket trumpet and direction), Fala Mariam (trombone), Nuno Torres (sax), Bruno Silva (electric guitar), Pedro Lourenço (electric bass), André Gonçalves (synths), Diana Combo and Luís Desirat (percussion).
