Without much fuss, guided by a deeply personal sense of ethics and sensibility, Zé Moura has been a major (no pun intended) influence in broadening horizons in the Greater Lisbon area for more than three decades. Co-founder and ringleader of record store Flur and the Príncipe and Holuzam labels, Moura, who was also Major Eléctrico or Discmen in past lives, is one of those rare visionaries capable of gathering apparently disparate threads of history into a cohesive flow where house, dub or industrial music all line up on the dancefloor.
