The most enduring and personal incarnation of Ukrainian-born, Lisbon-based Vlady Che, ϙue is a project in pursuit of ego dissolution through deep, immersive listening - a plunge into altered states of consciousness bordering on the sublime. A profound exploration of ambient at its most catalytic and cathartic, ϙue’s languid fluctuations hover delicately between self-reflective intimacy and the vastness of outer space, never locking into fixed notions of time or place. Steering clear of new age tropes or exoticist detours, we’re perfectly at ease calling it meditative — with a clear conscience. Making his OUT.FEST debut, ϙue presents his most recent release, “TIME” (an album co-produced by Comechelet) - in quadraphonic sound, with live visual accompaniment by another Portugal-based Ukrainian artist, equii, striving to bridge the abstract and the organic aspects of the visual medium.
