Rodrigo Cotrim is an extremely young musician, working primarily in the field of electronics, along with a healthy activity in fields of plastic arts, writing and performance - one time, he managed to turn a bass, an amplifier, chocolate cake, television, cookies, VHS, laptop and turntablism into a coherent and unified performance. His more recent musical works manage to converge techno and noise in a singular way, where every snippet of rhythm and/or melody comes across in a surprising and fresh way. Creating pieces that are constantly progressing, where every second seems to gather hundreds of ideas. Showing a lot potential, Cotrim is already an artist whose merits we should applaud, while keeping our eyes peeled to such a promising future.
