According to herself, Bleiddwn “is a musical project based out of a computer. Active since 2014, occasionally it ventures to places to go play out to people, but in reality its music is more for personal consumption.” She is undoubtedly one of the most prodigious youngblood names that have emerged in the last year on the wide and rich Portuguese ecosystem of future-minded electronica and quasi-club music bedroom producers. On the artist’s soundcloud account we find a copious showcase of the musical paths that she’s been exploring, from the breakbeat gravity with affection for the footworkian cut and drop from the chi-town to the layman introspective trap stylings, revealing a fast developing authorial personality edified from a software processed stylistical (de)trituration. In a recent live show it was manifest a young woman in command of a powerful music, seeming to be on the actual thick of it, convincingly and effortlessly, a rare condition. The music transmitted progressively materializes in the performative space - real, virtual -, slow burningly conquering the senses and the bodies of the public attending due to its admirable sagacious nature.
