RHODRI DAVIES

British harp player, performer and composer operating in the fields of experimental music and free improvisation that has been a key figure in searching new and improbable techniques and approaches to the instrument, including hybridizations with electronics and live dismantle and destruction of the object on a performative context. Has published and shown live his compositions, written for solo or ensemble formations, and new pieces for harp have been composed for him by such illustrious names as Eliane Radigue, Christian Wolff or Mieko Schiomi. Rodhri has also developed a parallel activity in the field of the exhibitional arts marked by the showing of audiovisual installations work in large scale, both in galleries and international multidisciplinary festivals.
