Producer, DJ, activist and overall dreamer of a more dignified life in this country, Violet aka Inês Coutinho is present in some of the most energizing platforms around here: co-founder of Radio Quantica, head of naive and its offshoot label naivety, resident of queer party mina and one of the founders of Planeta Manas club. Following releases for such esteemed labels as One Eyed Jacks, Love on the Rocks or Dark Entries, Violet's been crossing all over Europe and the United States spreading a communal message in tune with the rave ethos through dj sets flowing between house, techno, breaks or electro. In the last couple of years, she's been veering towards ambient, with Transparências, released this year through Quântica evoking a soundtrack for everyday shores and moods.
