OUT.FEST 2024: seven new names announced

New confirmations for the twentieth anniversary of OUT.FEST, from October 2 to 6 in Barreiro - just take a look at what’s coming!

We start with four absolute debuts in Portugal, and it's hard not to kick off with Wolf Eyes & Anthony Braxton - it’s almost impossible to imagine a better concert to mark 20 years of the festival, bringing together on stage one of the most defining names of the period when we started, authors of one of the most legendary concerts in our history (AMAC stage invasion, anyone?), a band in constant reinvention, reunited again with Mr. Braxton, for whom there are no words. Just… exclamation!

Next are two more collaborations: the half-light cosmic dust of the transatlantic duo Ulla & Perila, and the Balkan psychedelia of Lenhart Tapes feat. Tijana Stanković: four Walkmans and a voice from another world - just imagine Eurovision was still relevant.

Finally, our international lineup of Portuguese debuts is compete with DJ Anderson do Paraíso, a new voice and new possibilities for Brazilian funk, a producer from Belo Horizonte whose debut album "Queridão" has just been released by Ugandan label Nyege Nyege Tapes - or globalization working in a completely unexpected way.

We continue with the best this country has to offer: the return of another foundational band in our ranks, CAVEIRA, 19 years and many concerts at OUT.FEST later, a consolidated lineup and - surprise - and album in tow, finally: “Ficar Vivo.” Other voices, eight voices, many voices, or LEIDA, an organ of multiple larynxes imagined and conducted by Mariana Dionísio, in the company of luminaries such as Leonor Arnaut or Beatriz Nunes. Finally, we come to the living room, with carolf, one of the DJs who has stood out the most in the Living Room Sessions, low-key, intimate parties - ambient and beyond - that have occupied select houses in Lisbon over the past few years.

Global passes are still available, priced at €40 (last batch at this price) via BOL and at the ticket offices of FNAC, Worten or CTT throughout Portugal.
