Co-founder of LYL Radio, where she maintains her ‘Pu$$y Nightmare’ radio show for more than half a decade, Marine Tjordemann aka OKO DJ has been one of the most irreverent sound activists operating throughout the aether and the dancefloor. A core member of Brothers From Different Mothers and half of Women In The Royal Courtship with Tryphème, she released ‘Dans Le Lune’ in 2020 as a companion piece to the zine of the same name on FUTUR 2010, where she mirrors the four phases of the feminine cycle and their mystical meanings in a music settled on downtempo beats that surround themselves by textures inherited from esoteric industrial, skewed synths, echoes from the deep and mysterious melodies. In her sets, OKO DJ takes that freedom and wonder of discovery in a ritualistic manner, finding connections between different and, apparently diverging strands in a liberating narrative.
