André Gonçalves

André Gonçalves is a Lisbon-based multimedia artist who is also known as the inventor and driving force behind ADDAC System – Instruments for Sonic Expression, one of the best-regarded module makers in the Eurorack modular synthesizer world. Highly experienced in creating sound installations as well as live performances (solo and in collaboration with other musicians), he is the author of a sizeable number of important works spread through the various aliases he has assumed and other groups he has been a part of over the years. He has recently released the challenging “Musica Eterna” (Eternal Music), a name which wonderfully describes his style of beautiful, ethereal electronic music, exclusively as an app designed to run on iOS (iPhone/iPod touch and iPad), followed by this year’ s “Currents & Riptides”on the Shhpuma label.
