Jamal Moss, Orphy Robinson, Yaw Tembé & Evan Parker

Jamal Moss (who will also perform on Saturday the 8th as Hieroglyphic Being, his working name in electronic dance music) accepted our invitation to bring his well-regarded forays into live improvisation under the sign of free and fusion jazz to OUT.FEST’s opening night. Channeling his intense personal relationship with Sun Ra’s music and work, he will join forces with Orphy Robinson (a British vibraphonist and multi-instrumentalist of Jamaican descent), the saxophonist Evan Parker and Yaw Tembé, a trumpet player born in Swaziland living in Lisbon for the past years for a unique performance.
